w.t.f now

I have a 94 s10 4.3 vortec 4x4 and after putting a new motor in it and all that headache now when I want to stop the truck dont want to its like it diesels on forward when I do get going after reving up about 1,000 and dropping it into drive it runs/shifts fine please help before I have a bonfire

Check your EGR valve. It sounds like it could be a EGR getting stuck.

Carb cleaner. Better yet, if it looks bad and the pintle doesn't move freely, get some combustion chamber cleaner, pour some in a little cup and put the EGR base only in it and let it sit there for a few hours, peferably overnight. That will soften all the carbon and its easy to get it good and clean.
