95 dies about half throttle

I have 95 2.2L. I have changed plugs and fuel filter. When it gets about half throttle in any gear it dies out. After a second or two you can give it gas, but no more than half throttle. Any suggestions.....

Re: 95 dies about half throttle

not the best thing to try, but what about going full throttle? is this dying issue only at half throttle, or there and anything past it?

Have you checked the fuel pressure? If so what is it? What does the pressure drop to and hold after the pump shuts off?

Re: 95 dies about half throttle

i've seen where the tps goes bad at certain throttle positions. not sure if this is your problem but because 1/2 throttle is were it is most of the time.(50 - 60 mph) switch gets worn out in that position & messes with the signal to ecm
