Yea that seems like so much over kill. There is no way in hell anyone could roll down the street with it blasting that loud. You might impress the doctor with the worst blown eardrum he/she has ever seen.

True that, but is there any more sense in having a 10 second street car? Or hell even an 11 second street car? Its not like we can be unleashing our shit on public roads either.
 I agree though, that is far too much bass. I had two 12's hooked up in my car for a road trip once, it was cool as shit for the first like half hour but after 2.5 hours I literally felt sick to my stomach. By 3 hours into the trip we just turned the music off.

 Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order. The Purple People Eater will ride again... January 2011 can't come soon enough.
