Oil sensor

Changed oil about 3 weeks ago and read the oil life and it said 60% after the change. Well about 4 days after that it said "Change oil soon." And now it says "Change oil Now." The oil life is now at 0%. Could it be just low oil? Do the sensors usually go bad and need to be replaced? Anyone other reasons for it? I probably shouldn't just ignore it. Thanks.

'96 Olds Ninety-Eight Elite.

Fixed though. Reset Oil Life and now it's at 100!

I get confused when I read your signature! Should your signature should read like this:
“Staging in the Dodge lane is a Talon, or Eclipse, or Plymouth, or Mitsubishi... Ok, I don't know what the hell it is, but it'll be turbocharged and it's going to spool this Mustang." - Announcer at a track

Racer jargon describes a turbo spinning-up as; “spooling” not schooling! Are you sure that you heard the announcer correctly?

School... as in to humiliate or destroy. "Spool" this mustang wouldn't even make sense.

I'm sorry, I thought "school" was a building or institution in which children and teenagers are taught, usually up to the age of 17.

Yeah, I by no means talk gangster like saying "wack" all the time or anything but in this using of the word I thought it was obvious. Anyway, good looking out, it'd be real embarassing if I had a screwed up sig.
