Might help to post the year! In addition, what does no start mean?

Re: help! now no start!

my fault! it's a 92. now it seems intermittent when it starts. i put a spark tester on the coils it shows good spark on 1 end of coil and they other is weak/intermittent. then it's strong and so forth. same results on all 3 coils. also may i add that the module is new. i still have to test fuel pressure when i can get a chance but i don't think that is the problem. it will run for a while then shut off. code is #17 (spark reference) and #58 (vats problem) car starts everytime xcept after it has been ran and it shuts off.

Re: help! now no start!

The most common problem with Vats is not being able to read the resistance of the key pellet. If this was your problem the starter & fuel injectors would both be disabled. Note also that code #58 is a known bug in the 92's, disregard it.

The Big Three:
1 - Check for spark at each of the three front cylinders.
2 - Check for fuel at the injector rail, preferabably with a gauge.
3 - Check for fuel injector pulse.

A couple other things worth checking:
1 - Good connections at both ends of all the battery cables. Remove the bolts & rubber boots to see the corrosion at the battery end of the cables. Clean & apply dielectric grease to prevent help prevent future corrosion.
2- Driver's side ground bus. The fuel pump grounds here & needs a good connection. Pull the metal bar from the bus & clean the male & female ends of all the terminals. Apply dielectric grease & reassemble.

Here's a link showing the location of the ground bus, it's the connector with the black wires.
