i have a 64 nova ss no engine or trans i want to put a 454 h.o. in it i was wondering if it will fit and if so what kind of trans should i get i want a 4 speed

I helped do a 396 into a '62 Nova years ago. It was a tight fit and the guy wound up going with fenderwell headers and some other butchery to get it to fit. I would advise against it, but if you want some great advice, go to the Team Nova site. They have a great forum there.
