I have a weird problem. When I use my turn signal (either way) both blinkers go on. When I honk the horn the wipers go on. And when I use the left blinker the wipers go on for 5 seconds. When I turn the headlights on both green arrows on the dash come on. All this started without any running problems. So I figured the body control module is bad. So I got a used one from the salvage yard. Same exact ID number and everything. Turned on the car and saw the new mileage so it's working just fine. But it will not start. I took out the BCM/Cluster fuse and it runs for 2 seconds and dies. Put the fuse back in and it won't start at all. Maybe the theftlock system is on. How do I get this car to start??

Re: Installed used BCM- Won't start now
You have to over come the anti-theft system...
To override this do the following. Open your driver side window, lean in and try to start the vehicle. It will try to start then die as you described. Do not touch anything in the car or try to remove the key and turn the vehicle off. Walk away and come back in 15 mins. Turn the key off, and then try starting the car again, it should start with no problems.
