Re: day time runnin light
My "97 SE has DRL's but it was originally sold in Canada. The turn signals are the DRL's. I've heard it is simple to turn them on, I think by adding a relay in the power block under the hood IIRC.

Re: day time runnin light
DC is not a believer (IMO) in DRLs and only puts them on vehicles where mandated (Canada for example). I am not a lover of DRLs as they give a driver (IMO) a false sense of security. Example, drivers are out in low visibility conditions running DRLs only and with the DRL as your only illumination, the tail lights are not activated, try coming up behind a vehicle in low visibility, (for example fog) conditions with no tail lights on, really gets your attention (got mine).
