Smile P0 300 Code

I had the above error in my Astro van 1996 Vortex 4.3 L
I simply looked under the Hood, while soembody was cranking,,,and Noticed sparks coming out of the Coil Pak, or Coil Wire.....

Wished the Codes, would detail problems,,, but we got her Fixed

Replaced Both,, and back on the Road..... smooth again 78K Miles

Smile P0 300 Code

I like to always report what the Problem,, and SOLUTION was in all events to Help others on the Forum ....

I had somebody, Turn the Key start, while looking at the Ignition system,, and we saw High Intensity sparks jumping around the COIL,,

The COIL, on the 1996 Astro van,, 78,000 Miles and Coil wire were replaced,,and that Solved it..

Novemeber 2007 San Diego California ((surviving after the Fires..))

still getting an intermittant hesitation once in awhile,, might be time tochange out all the Spark Plug wires,, and Plugs..

A good scan tool will tell you what the codes mean right on the readout screen. This site has the descriptions of each code: http://www.obd-codes.com/index.php

Welcome to the forum!

To reduce the possibility of confusion, it would be best to start a new thread here: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ewthread&f=117 Post the symptoms, vehicle data, and what you have already done, and someone will help you. Thanks!
