Car info please help

I was wondering if there is a site thats like a big book about cars or something like that. A site that tells me exactly what everything does, for example like what does the battery do and what ineed to change if i add more electrionics and what kind of caps it need, what the exhaust for and everything in the car related words. Please help greatly appreciated thanks.
