91 6000LE Dead Fuel Pump?

Just got an ol 91 thrasher from an in-law for 150.00, but it appears that the fuel pump is out. the fuel pump relay and fuze are good, but no sound is heard from the tank when ignition is activated. Also, looking from the rear underside of the car, I see a black plastic tube, with a broken/cracked piece of fuel line tubing then goes into more black plastic tube which goes to the RH frame rail and to the front of the engine. I'm assuming that this is the fuel return line. I need to know what I need to get to replace the "connecting line" between the two halves of this line. Looking like 73.00 is the cheapest I can find this fuel pump online, If anyone knows of a cheaper place to get it, let me know. I'm dead broke and can't afford much. I had to steal two tires from a broken down LeBaron just to get the car on 4 tires that stay up without divine intervention.

Issue resolved, fuel pump had failed, replaced fuel return line.
