The guide to get your fog lights to work with your parking lights
finally a great way to do this mod..., you do not have to add any fuses or have to worry about leaving the fog lights on either..
figured it out!!!!!sorry i do not have pics but i will try to explain things very good.... ok first you will need to unscrew the fuse box under the hood, remove the plastic black covering being held by little clips on the under side of the fuse box,now look for the foglight relay(the third little black box up from the bottom of the fuse box) (the names of the relays will be on the cover of the fuse box) and look at the wiring under the foglight relay...there should be two wires that are thicker than the others because these are the ones that have the power source, both of the wires were colored red with a blue stripe, one is constant and the other is the switch, you are looking for the switch wire so you might need a tester to determine it(if you are trying to figure out your switch wire hook up the tester to your negative battery terminal and test each individual slot under the foglight relay wiring, what i did was leave the tester touching one of the slots and then i would go inside my car and switch my lights on and off, do this with each slot(only 4 of them, and when you find the one that lights up when you switch your lights on, and switches off when you turn the lights off, you have found the switch wire) or in my case the first horizontal clip under the foglight relay( the very first top left clip)was the switch wire, now cut that wire from the under side. Now tape up the end that is not attached to the fuse box.you will have nothing else to do with that wire. now look for the 15 amp fuse that is labeled tail for the taillights(or if your not sure which fuse it is, just turn on your parking lights and pull out each fuse, and when you pull a fuse out and the lights turn off instantly, that is the fuse you are looking for)...now look right under the fuse box and find out which wires are the ones that belong to that fuse....(green wires with a white stripe) so now strip the red wire with the blue stripe( the one coming from the foglight relay and add it to one of the green wires with a white stripe,( i don't think it matters which one because there is several going to that same spot, just as long it pertains to the tail fuse slot). Now just tape it up all together, put the fuse box back together and you are done.. You should now be able to switch your foglights on and off with your parking lights and regular beams.... and you also don't have to worry about leaving them on because just the same way the lights turn off when you exit the vehicle... the foglights do the same just like they used to with the regular beams try it out guys... i hope it's easy enough to follow....let me know if it works for you as it did for me... should only take 5-10 min. let me know what you think mission complete lol![]() __________________

Re: The guide to get your fog lights to work with your parking lights
badass man. just got through doing it. works like a charm.
took me a little longer than 5-10 minutes though lol. took me an hour...but i spent more time drinking and looking for tools than actually working i would allow yourself about an half hour from hood open to close. awesome job figuring that one out though man...definitely deserves to get in the FAQ IMO.

Re: The guide to get your fog lights to work with your parking lights
hey blu...do you know how i would make it so that the pop-up button controls the pop-up function whether the lights are on or not??? i would think it would be the same concept kinda...
