car has no power

Have a 2002 G.A. GT 3.4L at idle would flutter from 500 to 1100 Rpm, and when driving would hardly go down the road.Would bog down when accelerating. so I changed the throttle position sensor. and it didnt solve the problem. did fix the fluttering idle. anyone have any ideas?

Re: car has no power

Welcome to AF!!

You don't say how many miles on the car but this sounds like a problem with the catalytic convertor to me. Does the engine rev when you are trying to drive it or does it fall flat like it won't rev up. If so then the cat is the problem. If the engine revs but the car doesn't want to move then the issue is with the transmission.
