2005 Malibu remote start
Recently, the remote start on my Malibu quit working. Could this be as simple as a blown fuse? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to know as well because my remote start in our 2004 Malibu does work as well. I lock the doors with the remote and push the remote start and the parking lights flash and I hear clicking sound down by the motor but no starting. Any idea's?

The remote start stopped working on my 05 Maxx LT My symptom was press lock press and hold start and all I got was the parking lights flash once and no other sounds. Turned out to be the hood latch has a switch in it to disable the remote start when somebody is working under the hood. The switch broke. And no you cant just buy the switch you have to buy the entire hood latch assembly.
