It's That Time Again: Which Would You Choose? (No 56.6k)

I went and took some more pictures. I had some better spots picked out but the weather wouldn't cooperate with me before I left for vacation so I am left with the following choices to submit for the calendar.

I can send in three, so vote and tell me which three you picked and why.

Re: It's That Time Again: Which Would You Choose? (No 56.6k)

I chose 2, 4 and 6.
2 - because the off-road hotness (seems appropriate with the wheel gap) I like it.
4 - because the "Dodge" emblem is in the picture and it shows balance between the mountains and the car
6 - because, again, it shows the product name "Dodge" and the balance between the car and the background.

The only thing about 4 and 6 is they don't show the whole car. But having both photos... one showing front and one showing from the rear set it off right IMO.

Voted 1, 2, and 4. I'm at work so no detailed posts, but I'll explain later.

Re: It's That Time Again: Which Would You Choose? (No 56.6k)

I really like #1, lets face it I took the picture. Whats not to like? JK.

#1 looks great I really do like the angle, even though it is missing the mountains in the back ground.

I think #2 would work out great if you parked the car more on the field getting rid of the dirt in the picture.

#3 is cool, but is more about the rims then the car. Your entering these pictures into a stealth calender and the car should be the centeral figure.

#4 Is great. Like the location and angle of the picture. Nice Job.

#5, I'm just not a fan. It dosn't apeal to me for some reason. I think it's the angle.

#6, I think I'm in love. That picture is amazing. The background and car are almost matching. Which gives a very nice lighting effect. Can you send me the high res file for that one poly?

#7 is a great picture, I know I edited the light streaks out for you, thats my only complaint.

#8 Like the angle, but I feel like I'm missing the mountains.

After all that... I would choose #6, #1, and then #7 in that order. And really poly, send me the high res of #6. It's amazing.

Thanks! Number six is the result of about fifty pictures. The rest were crap. I'll be glad to send the high res shots to anyone. I'll post up a link to them later.

I really like 1, 4, and 6.

#1. Nice pic and the best "complete" shot of the car
#4. My favorite, a very strong pose/stance. The mountain in the background only seems dwarfed compared to the car.
#6. Almost as good as #4. Same reasons. Just looks better from the back.

Re: It's That Time Again: Which Would You Choose? (No 56.6k)

Well, I ended up sending 1, 4, 6.

I just can't fix or get around the problems with the others:

2. Would look better in the field, but there were high weeds, they'd need to be mowed down.

3. Cool shot, but BeZerK is right, too much about the wheels and not the car.

5. Car was was dirty, accidentally used the flash, poor angle.

7. Slightly over exposed, shadows, reflections.

8. No mountains (1 did a better job anyhow), shadows.
