Antifreeze
Are you all using Dexcool and did my 03 come with it? How can you tell when it's time to change it? They say if your using it, stay with it, because you can't get it all out and it doesn't mix with the green stuff. Is this true?

Re: Antifreeze
I am using Dexcool. Your 03 should have it from the factory (if it's orange, it's Dexcool). Owner's manual suggests replacing it at 100,000 mi.
Some people are hell bent on not using Dexcool and switching to the green stuff. I am sticking with Dex because it has worked for over 100k for me with no problems, and I prefer to stick with what GM recommends. If you do switch, make sure you completely flush the system because the two are not compatable.

Re: Antifreeze
Yea, GM switched to Dexcool back in 98-99, I believe.
I am using Dexcool and have not had a problem with it. I just did a flush and replaced it with Dexcool.
