Front Body Repair

On my 87 thunderbird, my lovely fiance decided to take out a sharp left turn sign... (Yeah... not the brightest) she happened to nail the front right turn signal right on the fiberglass area, and it totaled that whole area, the front and side right signal are smashed, the body is bent in, (Will provide a picture once I return home) and the whole section of the hood the headlight is mounted in is swaying around.

I'm curious to know if something this old is able to be repaired by the common man, as I am in no way a metal worker or know anyone who does. and that if these kind of tools can be acquired in hardware stores / advance auto and the like

Re: Front Body Repair

It might be easier to try to find good panels in the junkyard and then you just have to paint them.
