[URGENT] - '01 Civic lost and Axel Seal and now...

Sorry I have not searched for this but I am in an emergency situation. I am out of town and my wifes civic lost an axle seal on the interstate. I pulled off and got it to a repair place that said everything was good to go. Next day at the hotel I look under the car and all the tranny fluid is on the ground instead of in the tranny...

I called them back and it is getting picked up this morning and on the phone the guy a the repair shop said we might be looking at something wrong with the internals of the transmission or the axle itself for it to fail again already.

Are they blowing smoke and trying to get out of their repair warranty or could they have done something incorrectly in the initial repair to cause it to fail again or could it just have been another problem they did not diagnose and should I expect them to credit me the amount of the initial repair in this one since it iwas their mistake...

I won't be able to check back for a few hours but thanks for all the help.

Also this is all going down in phoenix and if anyone knows whi I should not trust my car to Purcell on 32nd and shay let me know and tell me someplace that would be better.
