Tamiya Lotus 99t

This is my 3rd real model, (I used to build them as a kid; all I did was glue them together and badly apply the decals) and the first time puttying/sanding/priming/spray painting the body. After decals were applied, all the yellow parts are brushed with Future. This is a stock OOB build, as I am a student and can't afford all the expensive PE and CF parts.

Regardless, I am quite happy with the results. Let me know what you all think!

I will add more pics later with the cowling on.

Comments and criticism welcome!

Re: Tamiya Lotus 99t

I think you have done a great job on an OOB build and on a limited budget. You are right to be pleased with yourself

The good news is that your next model will probably be even better

Shot, nice job. I like the scrubbed tyres! Your paint job is perfect and I like the rivet effect. Keep it up!

Re: Tamiya Lotus 99t

Indeed a very nice job.

Especially the paintjob is really flawless. I'm still working on achieving that kind of finish...

Great build !
