Oil Pressure, whats correct 99Silver-6.0
I have 99 Silverado, 6.0Ltr, 2 Whl Drv, running castrol gtx 5-30, fram oil filter with antidrain back valve.
At 600Rpm, oil pressure 50, At 2000Rpm oil pressure 75+. At times pressure seems to almost pulse between 60-70. Is this normal? Is Fram Oil Filter with Anti Drain valve, causing abnormal high pressure? Changed oil and it was clean. |

I use Baldwin filters, Fram to me in the past has done similar problems and I live in Arctic conditions and I have seen Frams blow apart.
