Engine bogs down when I get on

I have a 94 truck 5.7 motor. When I step down hard on the gas it acts like it floods out and bogs down. Idles fine. I changed cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Gets gas through both injectors. Replace the catalytic converter. Im at my wits end.

How about checking fuel pressure?

its getting fuel. I can look in the bowl and see the fuel spraying.

Ok, but if the pressure is low under power it will bog down, also try dropping the exh., to check the cat. 10-13 psi FP, how about a clogged fuel filter?

Havent tried filter, wouldnt it be sluggish all the time if that was it? Also remove cat and tried it without. I dont have FP gauge.

I would def. replace the fuel filter, I had a 92 w/the 4.3 that did the same thing, replaced plugs and wires, got a little better then replaced the fuel filter and it had ALOT more power and didnt bog down anymore
