Re: 1990 Chevrolet Optima
I haven't heard of the "Optima" (btw, that is also the name of a Kia vehicle.) There is the Optra, could that be it? There is a forum on this site that covers that model:http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...lay.php?f=1663

Re: 1990 Chevrolet Optima
Oh, okay. Upon seeing the photo, my first thoughts were that it resembled the old Pontiac LeMans sold here in the States in the late '80s/early '90s. Upon a little research, I came across this quote,"Interestingly, this is not the first time GM has attempted to sell a Korean car under a GM nameplate in Canada. Remember the 1989 Passport Optima and the 1992 Pontiac LeMans? They were Daewoos based on an Opel Kadett design. The full text can be found here:http://www.canadiandriver.com/testdrives/gmdaewoo.htm. That quote I attributed is really the only mention of the Optima in the article. It was referred to as the "Passport Optima".
