ALDL link problem
Vehicle 1995 Safari AWD
I am attempting to hook up to the ALDL link to a laptop computer. Have purchased an old computer with a serial port and the proper ALDL cable with the 12V cigarette liter tap. I am using the DataMaster software Version 3.5.1. The link is working but I get data errors about every second sample. I have tried other software with no success. The computer is working fine, I wont give details. The problem seems to be in the cable. Anyone have experience with this setup.
