2002 Rendezvous lights flickering on and off

2002 rendezvous's lights and instrument controls keep going haywire. ignition switch and battery were replaced still keeps happening. tonight the car was off just sitting in the drive way and the lights were flashing on and off then stuttering on and off. opened fuse box and you could hear a clicking noise. fuse box under hood i pulled the low beam fuse and it stopped , but still was making the clicking noise in the inside? anyone have any suggestions

The think the clicking you are hearing is likely the relays in fuse box. My guess is the problem is due to bad connection to underhood fuse box. Either loose or corroded ( I did hear in one case the part the cable connects to was broken). Could be cable connection to box at either end.
