01 Windstar (SEL): Cannot read Codes

Has anyone ever had this problem? My engine light is on, but the dealer cannot read the codes. Same thing at Autozone. No error or any communication with the reader. Currently at 83K.

Any suggestions where to start looking?

Check to make sure the fuse is not blown. The OBD port is on the same fuse as the front 12v (cigarette) plugs.

Thank you! It was fuse #17. Replaced it and now I can read the codes...
