Engine Knocking

I have a 99gt with a 3.4. I started it up this morning and it started to knock pretty good. I let it run thinking it was cold and it was still there so I shut it down. Five minutes later I started it up again and it was only faintly knocking. No lights came on at all. Thank You

Re: Engine Knocking

Did you check the oil level ?

If its a half quart low it'll make some noise.....

So what are you asking ??

Re: Engine Knocking

Just looking for insight. I have someone helping me with LIM gaskets next weekend so I will just give the rockers and rods a look. Thanks
