Question Removing Quarter Panels

In my convertible model my rear speakers are located in the rear quarter panels beside the back seat. I plan on putting in my new speakers this weekend and I think I can see pretty much how to pull the rear quarter panels out. I was just wondering if anyone here has ever taken them out before to replace the speakers and if you have any tips concerning it. Thanks for any info you can give me, it will be greatly apperciated.

Re: Removing Rear Quarter Panels

they are just held in with retainer clips. Pretty much like the whole car is, ha ha. Swift yank and they should come out.

Thumbs up Re: Removing Rear Quarter Panels

Thanks, besides 4 screws it was just clips. I got my speakers all in and it sounds so much better. Though I did get crack my driver side rear panel where the seat belt comes through (pulled it a little hard in the wrong direction apparently ) But I'm pretty sure I can fix that.
