50/50 tail lights

Hi,


I have seen several Del Sol's on the net with 50/50 tail lights, the top half was clear and the bottom part was red. I took one of my tail lights out to see if the amber part could be removed, creating the clear effect, but it couldn't. I was wondering if any of you guys know where to buy them on the net? I've seen one used pair on eBay and they went for around $300. To me that is a ridiculous amount to pay for a set of used tail lights. Anyway, if anyone wants more pics of the 50/50 tail lights let me know!

you cant buy them you have to make em....you use a dremmel and replace the top part with a top half of an altezza lense. Very difficult but Ill see if I can get the link for the how to for ya.

Ok here you go ( http://www.moresol.freeservers.com/5050tails.htm ) thats the how to and remember what I said about them not being sold.....well yeah I kinda lied you can get them here ( http://www.clearcorners.com/products/honda/delsol1/ ) but you have to send them your tails along with $500 dollars, a little too much if you ask me but hey...its your money.

Hey thanks for the help Joe! As soon as I get my hands on another set of lights I'm gona try to make my own. By the way, you wouldn't also happen to know where to buy used tail lights for cheap would you?

Actually on ebay there is usually a pair for sale they average about $30 a pair.
