tcc always commanded on
87 buick park ave, 3.8. I unplugged my tcc because of vibration issues, and this eliminated most of my vibrations, but on the scanner it reads that the the pcm is always requesting the tcc to be ON at any speed, any gear, even park. I have never seen this before, has anyone else. Other than a faulty pcm what could cause a constant tcc on request from the pcm.
Thanks. |

Re: tcc always commanded on
Exactly what does the scanner say, there is 12v to the solenoid all the time then the pcm grounds the circuit at 50 or so.

Re: tcc always commanded on
it says
tcc cmd ON with key switch on, not running it says OFF, but once the car is started it switches to ON. |

Re: tcc always commanded on
My 89 park scanned the same way, when driving when the tcc engaged, the scanner said off. The shudder if not an engine miss, is probably a bad tcc.
