Does anyone know how to tighten up the driver/pass mirrors? I've looked all over the mirror and cannot see any screws/torx to tighten. The passenger one seems to be doing fine.....so far.
It will vibrate just driving around. No excessive bumps or potholes needed. Any help is greatly appreciated! -Mark |

Re: Vibrating drivers mirror
if your truck is 95 or newer, you need to remove the door panel to access the bolts that hold the mirror in place.

Re: Vibrating drivers mirror
sorry.......its a 2004 Bravada AWD (collector edition) if that matters.
I should also mention that its not the entire mirror assembly shaking. Its only the glass that vibrates/moves. -Mark Last edited by gladesteen; 11-01-2007 at 02:36 PM. |

Re: Vibrating drivers mirror
the nylon gears are spring loaded to prevent stripping, take your thumb and press on one side of the mirror until you hear a click or two and then do the same on the top. you might be able to reseat the gears into an unworn tooth. worth a try.
