dont know what type of engine i have

I have a 1992 honda civic. when i looked on the block it has ZC on it but the block also has a spot where a vtec solenoid would be, but is just covered by a plate. so is my engine a vtec? what typr of engine is it? thanks

you have a ZC non vtec engine... if you have the money, swap for a d16z6 or b series

If you have the money, swap and sell me that engine, I need it for my build.. and I can't find one... in fact, lemme look for a Z6/Y8 for you, and I'll trade you if I get one. You can even keep the ZC tranny, if you have it.
