2000 LS automatic

What is the procedure for filling the transmission and checking the level?? Just replaced transmission due to low and rev going out... Thanks

Not sure on the 2000, but on the 2004 the service manual calls out a special adapter for checking the level and for filling. There is no dipstick, as you've probably already noticed.

correct - it is a fill/drain plug - maing you fill it until it reaches a leve that it begns to pour out. th filler plug has a short snout on the inside that once fluid reches tht level beins to pour out of it.
