Re: remove the rear or not?

There are probably more efficient weight loss techniques, what would you do with the dead space...Id leave em if you plan on havin three babes in the car instead of one :-)

I would leave them in, you never know when you might have to pick some people up or something.

Re: remove the rear or not?

Keep them, the back seat doesn't weigh anything at all, not enough for you to notice the difference anyway. Besides, you never know when you might need them to pick some people up.

What would you know about that, you couldnt get one blind fat chick into your fugly ass whip! OHHHHHH!

Ha ha ha ha, I am just giving you shit man. I took mine out, not so much for weight savings but what the hell good do they do? Theres no room for fuckin back there and sure you'd have more room for passengers, but putting one person back there over 5.5 feet tall gets a bit interesting. I would rather NOT have people in my car so no back seat is a perfect excuse. Also that is a convenient spot for oil/coolant/tools/other misc shit to fix broke ass DSM.

Re: remove the rear or not?

Thor, as a matter of fact i have gotten two "blind fat chicks" lol jk

But yea the worst thing in the world is if you have four people in the car. Makes it real interesting to steer and shift, although it does give you the feeling of driving a very speedy go kart.

Re: remove the rear or not?

Packed 7 people in my car on New Years Eve 2 years ago and went to IHOP. I didn't have the back panels in the car (just installed speakers). 4 in back, 3 in front. Not pretty one bit. Lucky no one was fat, but there were some tall ones.

Re: remove the rear or not?

Damn 7 people. The most I got was 4 i think. It would be hard to fit 7 kids in these cars.

Re: remove the rear or not?

7?!?!? How much did you have to smoke/drink to desire IHOP that bad lol...Although i must admitt IHOP is pretty delicious. I fell in love with them in SC then moved to MN where i had to live without for a few years, then we got em up here about 5 yrs ago.

Re: remove the rear or not?

Jesus, I got 6 into my Cavy one day and that has way more room than a DSM does. Most people I've ever had in a vehicle was a mid 90's minivan that some friends and I took on a road trip. There was two up front, three in the middle and five in the back, plus everyones shit for the weekend. There was two people (the lightest, smallest, and cutest girls) that didnt even get to sit on the seats, they had to ride on our laps the whole way... no complaints from me I got the one with the nice, big, squishy ass .

New Years Eve... Drinking... and IHOP is an awesome combination. Last year was Dennys; big downgrade on that one. IHOP is the best for breakfast and a large one at that. Great times right there.

Now I want IHOP

And yes 7 is possible. Without the side/rear speaker panels on, it opens up the back quite a bit. I remember the one kids back was on the speaker and everytime there was a little bass, he laughed and said the bass hurt his back.
