Smile Detail Master's Braided hose & AN fittings.

Hi,

I am looking at getting some braided hose and maybe some A/N fittings to match. My problem is I am not sure of what size braided hose to go for.

The main aim is to put some braided hose in on my 1/12 mp4/6, but still be able to use it for my many 1/20 scale f1 cars. The exact scale size isn't important, as long as it gives all my cars extra detail. Any advice on which size hose to purchase?

And in regards to the A/N fittings, I have read tutorials on making those yourself and I think I could do it, but i wouldn't mind getting some anyway. my question is do i need 3 different packets to build those things up?

for example like the ones in this picture?

Thanks to SkylineFan for the pic!

Re: Detail Master's Braided hose & AN fittings.

i'd suggest ProTech over Detail Master... they've got an easier, and to my mind, more realistic, method of making the AN fittings, and a wide variety of sizes. i just bought a couple of different sizes. website suggests the proper size for various applications (fuel lines, etc.), but since they're assuming 1/25 scale, i went the next size up for 1/20.
