Suspension Improvements?

Any of yal have any advice as to how to stiffen up the ride and suspension?

Right now it's so bad that i can't even go over a speed bump at 10 mph with out bottoming out. The front end feels like it's gonna wash out at every turn i take...
Any thoughts on getting some KYB gas shocks and struts?
I've never done shock and stut installation before, so to do the whole car i need what? Buy 2 shocks and 2 struts? Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Oops! Sorry, i'm so used to all that info being in my sig and stuff under my avatar.

I'm rolling with a 93 Buick Lesabre custom, with 56k miles on it. It has a V6 3600 engine in it (i think).

I'm just looking to stiffen up the suspension to a point that it's at least driveable. Right now it's so bad that bobs and teeters, then scrapes its bottom like everywhere.

It’s very unusual for the struts to fail with only 56K! I assume, it is more from age, rather than miles in your case. The 93 LeSabre is equipped with struts on all four corners. If you have never changed a strut before, it might be best to let a shop do it since some special tools are required and a 4-wheel alignment will be required after the replacement.

Monroe Sensa-Trac is a good strut for maintaining the Buick ride quality. Some folks that have tried KYB struts, report them to be, too firm on the LeSabre & PA.

Ok, just to clarify. I just buy two front and two rear struts?
Need i buy strut mounts?

Do you have air assist struts in the rear? You will need to know this before buying the struts. If you are not sure, look under the hood for a small air compressor located on the driver side inner fender. If you have air lines going to the rear struts, you have air assist struts. Yes, you will need two struts for the front and two for the rear.

You can inspect the upper mount & bearing upon removal. If the rubber mount looks good and the bearing is not dry & rusted, you could use them again. If money is not the object, replace them for good insurance against premature failure.
