rectangular fog lamps.

A simple upgrade for a bit more light is to replace the #880 bulb with a #885 on trucks with these style fog lamps. You'll increase the wattage from 34W to 50W by doing this. Increase the fuse by 5 amps and you're done. Found this on a Corvette forum where they have been doing this mod for years.

Re: rectangular fog lamps.

Hey Chuck, I just installed some Hella FF75 fog lights and some FF75 driving lights. How did you aim yours? Any tips?

Thanks.

Re: rectangular fog lamps.

On my 02 3500 and last year I upgraded to 5000K HID bulbs, BIG difference in amount of light! I think its now about 3000 lumens.

I aimed them by going and parking in front of my Garage back about 15 feet then aimed them about 12 inches below the headlights. Seem to be ok at that height...
