Changing the radio
My radio is showing e20 tried to clean it with a cd cleaner and it did not work. I was going to remove it and try to fix it but I don’t want to mess it up more , so I am just going to get a new radio and will the buttons on the steering wheel still work for the radio even though it’s a completely different type of radio.

Re: Changing the radio
IF you're going aftermarket, and the new radio has a an IR remote, then you can buy an interface module to retain your steering wheel controls. The radio data will not be displayed on the HUD if your car has one, but the steering wheel controls will still work. The interface runs about $50 or so on e-bay.

Re: Changing the radio
I would disconnect the battery to be safe.
