2000 Gtp Starting Problems

I Recently Am Having Starting Problems With My Car. What The Mechanic Is Calling A Hard Start. The Ignition Has To Be Continuously Turned Over For It To Start. New Fuel Filter, Maf Sensor Cleaned, New Air Filter, New Plugs, Fuel Pump Brings Up Pressure Like It Is Suppose To. Currently Trying A New Control Module, But That Isn't Working Either... Does Anyone Have Any Suggestions?

Have you tried unhooking the MAF? Just because it was cleaned doesn't mean the cleaning helped.

No i haven't tried that. The check engine light isn't coming on. I have read where there could be a number of things causing this. Leaky air tubes, idle air control, crankshaft position sensor, coils, ecu..... Just not sure what to do. When the check engine light came on, i took it to my mechanic, the computer read misfires and the plugs etc was changed.. still didn't help the hard start though. I am afraid I am going to have to replace a starter if this continues.

The symptoms you describe are common when a MAF starts to go bad. You won't get a MAF code, but you will get random misfires, hard starting, hesitation, etc...
