Neutral Safety Switch
Bonnie 1994 SSE non-supercharged.
I think we all know that the neutral safety switch must be in the Park or Neutral position in order to start a car. I was looking at the service manual diagrams and noticed that it is also input to the PCM with a contact selection on each shift position. Does anyone know why and how it would effect the transmission (or engine) if the other contacts in the switch were bad? Inquiring minds need to know…  Thanks Gary
