Re: 94 gsr window problem

Your driver's power window switch is a three position switch, up, down and auto down. The way this switch works is it locks the window in the down mode until there is to much work load on the motor (i.e. it hits the stops in the track) and like a circuit breaker the switch releases and resets. That's why you hear that pop in the switch when the window goes all the way down. If I were to guess at a broken part I would start with the power window switch. Wiring could be an issue, as some times water gets into the connectors on the door harness and causes the pins to corrode, this is usally evidenced by a green build up on the pins, Honda did put a dielectric grease in their door connectors to prevent this but I have seen instances where the grease wasn't enough.
GOOD LUCK

Re: 94 gsr window problem

IF the connections all seem good, test the relay to see if it is still in working condition. If the window is ever open during "inclement weather" water, snow, salt, crud can all get in there and work a number - everything from corroading the connections, to getting into the motor parts and such.

YOu may even just have gunk built up on the scissor arm that is cauing the motor to work harder than it has to - tripping the relay. Make sure all the moving parts on the regulator arm, gears, and slide are clean and lubed.

Re: 94 gsr window problem

try pushing a little harder...dont just click it down...it has two stages the self adjust down- "First Click" then Auto Down "Secondary Click"...if that doesnt work the replace your Switch...
