Re: squeaky sound
did you replace the tensioner when you replaced the belt???? i bet the tensioner is what is making the squeaky noise..

Re: squeaky sound
Before you go buying a manual tensioner for no reason:
- Try tightening the tensioner on the belt. If the sound goes away, the belt is just stretched from age, and will probably need to be replaced soon. If the sound remains after tightening: - Try taking off the belt and spinning each pulley individually. They should spin smooth, quietly, and relatively resistance-free. Also try to wiggle the pulley, it shouldn't wiggle. If it does wiggle or spin roughly, that part needs to be replaced. If there are no sounds or looseness from any of the pulleys, and tightening the tensioner doesn't make the sound go away then you probably need a new belt.
