Service light on

alrighty well i drive a 01 sunfire GT, and theproblem i have is that the led for the lights being on flashes roughly 5-8 times, and then the service light stays on. i recently have a burnt out headlight, is that the problem, or is there something else here. i am reather broke beyond beliefe, so hopefully i can get some good news.\

its not your actual "check engine" light is it?? if not, the headlight is most likely the problem, remember to replace them both at the same time, thats not mandatory, but your car will look like shit at night time, with one headlight slightly dimmer then the other
