Ultra 2000 Supercharger

1. How do I remove the large gray cover over the engine?

2. Can I check the supercharger oil from the top or do I need to access it from under the car?

At the center of the cover where you see the molded lines is a fastener like a wingnut. Turn counterclockwise. Then unscrew counterclockwise the oil filler extension located towards the front of the cover.

The inspection/fill plug to check supercharger oil level is located on the snout and done from the top. Use a 3/16 Allen wrench to remove the inspection plug. The oil level should be at the bottom of the threads. If low use only GM supercharger oil PN: 12345982. See pic below.
