S.A.S. 350Z (color choice)

Alright,I just got the body kit in today from Cris everything was good except for a huge chunck of extra resin on the bottom of the front bumper and while I as cutting it off I oke the bumper, but I glued it back together now and everything is good. Rght now I am trying to decide on a color choice but I have no idea what would look good on it. I a looking for something bright becasue I wont all the detials on the kit to show. here are some progress pics of what it lokks like right now. the putty is drying so I can smooth it down in some gaps I made.

I am using Fujimi Course Speedline Compe 2's and I have some Speedline decals in the mail that I will put on it also

I know its bad but my local hobby shop only carrys testors so please refer to there paint codes, or names

when i get a 350 Z with a SAS kit i was thinking of a blue upper half of the car with orange sides separated by a white stripe and Circle decals and a racing number on the doors.

Im leaning towards a bright red or bright blue. but I also found in my 300zx kit that I am building also it has the choice of making it a T-top and since I'm not making the T-top I was thinking about putting them on the 350 the fit perfect. what do u all think would this lokk pretty cool?

Not a color suggestion but I got the feeling that the Speedline rims might be too small for the 350 in the end.

I'd say a deep dark metallic blue. Mix 20 parts of clear blue with 5 parts of metallic green and 1 part of black. That'll make it vary under different lighting conditions. Sprayed over a grey primer.

That's how I would do it.

I guess you found out the hard way that you need to be extra careful with resin coz its brittle. Make sure you check fitment of the headlights and dont rush it! Its gonna be interesting to see how this (and all the others) will turn out.

Mine is almost finished, hoping to have it complete this week as i've not been able to work on it for a few days. My colour choice will be revealed to you all when i post pics of the finished product, it was going to be gunmetal but i changed my mind. Another suggestion for you is pearl white.

I think you should do gloos black. It came out really nice on Guiddy's 350Z.

im definitely a supporter of the bright blue. Thats the color that I planned on painting mine. Try and pick up pamphlet from your local Nissan dealer to get a better idea as to what color you'd like to paint it.

thanks for the suggestions, and yes im not going to rush it im wating over night for the putty to dry do i can then smooth it out and add another coat. I just want to find the right color and get it ready so I wont have to wait on going out to buy paint. And to whoever said it I forgot I really like small rims and I dont see why many more real cars dont have small rims becasue they perform better but I do have a back pair its just fitting them to fit the rim set up ill have pics later. there from a castrol nsx.
