Question 2001 Please help??!!

We've replaced and tried EVERYTHING...well, almost. It's currently in the garage. Full tune up. New Ignition Coil, New ECM, New Crankshaft Sensor, New Distributor. New radiator. CKP Relearn has been performed, PASSLOCK relearn has been performed. The darn thing is still bucking. Mechanic is bum-fuzzled. Codes present were P1336 and the misfire code. Now, the only code is STILL P1336 even though the CKP relearn was performed. On scanner, the cam sensor is reading -4, yet the entire distributor was replaced. Where can I go from here. The fuel pressure is correct and the fuel pump is "working correctly". Although, the fuel gauge wants to work real slow....for it to be an accurate reading, you have to wait about 5-10 mins. Also, the temp gauge see-saws from 0- 5000 (just exaggerration) but basically from top to bottom continuously. I don't know what else to do and neither does the mechanic. Should I set fire to it?? But, seriously, what else could it be?

first the cam shaft position sensor reeding can be repaired with a simplew re&1 of the distibutor and grind the mounting bolt hole so that u can adjust the cam sync. most scan tools will show you a cam retard value you want it to be as close to zero as possible. the computer will only update the value if you rev it to above 2000 rpm. after adjustment. so it takes a couple of minutes bnut ussually thee cam sync will only cause a problem after 7 degrees plus or minus. as well i have come across a couple of blazers and jimmys with older 4.3 were the wiring harness behind thye right engine lifting point wears through the wiring harness ussually causes oil pressure gauge issues but might be you're eproblem but good luck Robnoxiousauto.

Allow the engine to warm to at least 158°F before attempting the Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn procedure.
