PEMs question...

ZZP finally has some ceramic coated crossover pipes in stock . They also have front and rear PEM's in stock. With the money that I have now I can get the crossover and the front P-LOG ceramic coated. Or I can get the crossover and the P-LOG and the rear PEM but bosth would not be ceramic coated.

Can I coat them myself?

Is it worth it to get the crossover since the factory one isnt really restrictive?

Should I even bother doing the rear pem since its not as restrictive as the front?

I know I should have just got headers but in a year when this car goes to my brother I will be getting another GTP and thats the one I will do right the first time. Hell I might go turbo, you never know...

All help is useful I want to order them this weekend...

This ones for you BNAYLOR.....

Thnx

Re: PEMs question...

OK, first of all the "ZZP" ceramic coated crossover is just a stock crossover coated, so there is no benefit other than lower temps. That's why they ask for a core.

As for doing them all yourself, I don't know, but I imagine there is a shop that could coat them for you locally prolly.

You are right about the rear not being as restrictive as the front. You could easliy get away with only getting the front and crossover if you wanted to. I actually doubt you'd even see a difference adding the rear to your setup (if your sig block is right).

See, I have the rear and a 2.5 dp w/highflow cat, but now need the front and a catback before I'll even consider adding them! I also found out that I prolly won't even add it because it's more a$$pain than it's worth. I would much prefer headers but you know how much they are!!! Plus, I'm not trying to make a race car, just a slightly faster one!!!

Hope this helps a bit!

Save your money for the GTP you plan on getting. Either on the down payment or for headers and other mods.

Re: PEMs question...

Wow, I may not be a huge poster here, but I read damn-near every post and try to help with what I feel that I know sufficient info about.

But talk about feelin not appreciated!

Not to mention you only waited for about a day for responses (I know you wanted some quick feedback from them). But personally, sometimes I don't check the internet myself for a few!

But seriously good to hear that and we appreciate your responses.

Everyone has a life other than on AF and we try to be responsive but cannot always do that. Alot of it depends on the subject matter and the urgency of the matter, issue or problem. Too many variables.

I was out Saturday myself from 4:00 am to around 5:00 pm doing Army Reserve and National Guard training where we prep our troops before they deploy to the Middle East.

Also, it may help to stay out of forums like Street Racing and others off AF where they make you paranoid or look dumb.

Re: PEMs question...

LOL, I meant the Grand Prix section not all of AF!!! That would be a full time job!

I shoulda been more clear because that last comment was only meant for the OP. He just seemed like he was expecting an instant reply from you guys. I honestly didn't care if he appreciated my input, that's sorta the point of the internet right?

Thx BNaylor! I appreciate you appreciating my previously nonappreciated opinion!!!

bricker 82, we appreciate you appreciating our appreciation of your previously unappreciated opinion!!

Wow, now my head hurts,

I guess jeepgclwj felt 14 minutes was way too long for a response! And bad Bob, how dare you not be right here when he needed you most, wasting your time with our troops and all
