2003 4.7L 4 wheel drive Tranny problem

Hi all,
Driving 60mph, up to 70 to pass, back to 60 all of a sudden tranny is slipping. No 3rd or overdrive. Check engine light comes on and throws P0700, Po733 and P0734. Tranny shifts into 3rd but just slips no traction at all. Is the tranny shot? Any ideas of what it will cost?
Thanks in advance for your advice
Bob

May not be as big a problem as you think. When's the last time you changed the fluid. I would start with some fresh ATF+4 fluid and a new filter. For a couple of hours under the truck and less than $40.00 bucks, you may just get lucky and solve the problem.

p0733=gear ratio error in 3rd
p0744=gear ratio error in 4th
a very common problem on that trans is the bolts that hold the accumulator cover on the side of the valve body break.If you pull the pan off,you can see that.The good news is there is a repair kit available,part # 5174633AA and its like $15.The bad news is if that is the problem and you keep driving it,you can burn up the trans.
