Door Locks on 99 Yukon

passanger door on 99 yukon is in locked position and will not close. how do i get it to "open up". i tried to pry the locking mecnanism up with no luck. Please help!! thanks Steve

Welcome to AF. Pry it up holding the outside handle in the open position.

You are welcome, but it may happen again, spray some lube in the lock mechanism.
