2.4, tried what I know....please help!!!
Ok, my Achieva was hesitating bad on highway, tried replacing coil pack housing, and spark plugs. Worked good for 2 days. Suddenly it not only reverted back to the previous condition, it now acts, and sounds like it is running on only 2 cylinders. Had the coils checked...they were fine. Checked to see if I was getting spark to all 4...Check. Now What?? Could it be a fuel problem or what. My wifes jeep is going in the shop next week and this was the only running vehicle we had. I need any and all ideas!
Thanks!!! |

Welcome to AF.
Have you tested/checked the ignition control module (ICM) ? If so, then it's possible it could be fuel related. Could be low fuel pressure or clogged/dirty injectors.
