Jerky Movements

I Have An 2003 Intrepid, The Oil Pressure Light Has Been Coming Off And On For A Month Or So, When Oil Was Last Changed, They Said It Was Dripping A Little. That's Not The Problem I Don't Think Though.
Today While Going To Lunch, I Pulled Out Of Our Parking Lot And Accelerated And The Car Started Bucking And Jerking. When It Shifted, It Was Ok. Went About A Half Mile To A Drive Thru And Then When I Pulled Out Of There, It Did The Same Thing... Orange Idiot Light Did Come On And "dinged" At Me... Not Sure If This Is The Check Engine Light Or Not, I Have No Manual... Help The Lady, If You Can,,, Any Ideas??????
